Lange Ends Career with Third-Team All-America Laurel

Oskaloosa--Olivia Lange (Sr., Porta Westfalica, Germany, Business Management) put an exclamation point on a terrific career by being named an NAIA Women's Golf All-American as the 2024-2025 teams were announced Thursday.

Lange was named to the 15-person Third Team, while 15 individuals were chosen for both the First and Second squads as well.

It is Lange's first All-America laurel, while she becomes the fifth in program history (first since 2019).

The senior, who helped William Penn to the Heart of America Athletic Conference title, also won the league medalist honor last month with a score of 229 (76-74-79).

Over her 27 rounds of competition, Lange owned a 77.4 stroke average.  She had 20 rounds in the 60s or 70s with a low of 69.  The senior won six titles in the 11 events in which she was entered, and only finished outside the top 10 once (NAIA National Championship).

Lange capped her tenure as a Statesmen last week by making the cut at Nationals and tying for 50th at 314 (78-75-79-82).

Chris MacDonald of British Columbia was named the NAIA Coach of the Year.
