Additional Information: William Penn is a private, four-year, liberal arts university founded in 1873 by Quaker pioneers. It is located in Oskaloosa, Iowa-a small peaceful town in south central Iowa--just 60 miles from Iowa's capital city, Des Moines, and a few short hours from Chicago, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Omaha, and St. Louis.

Financial Assistance: 98 percent of our students receive financial assistance in the form of academic, athletic, leadership, activity, and departmental scholarships and grants.

Student Life: More than 25 student organizations, including five social fraternities and sororities, fine arts, student government, intramurals, and student-run media.
