Zao Estrada, Women's Wrestling

Zao Estrada, Women's Wrestling

Estrada showcased her dominance on the mat throughout November. On November 7, she earned a hard-fought 10-6 decision against a highly-ranked foe from Baker. Just two days later, she delivered a flawless 5-0 performance at the Waldorf Open, capturing the 117-pound title with four technical falls and a pin in the championship match. Estrada continued to shine at the prestigious Missouri Valley Open, competing in a 55-person bracket. She collected six wins to secure a third-place finish.  Five wins came by technical fall, while one came via pin.  Her only loss came to the NCAA's #1-ranked wrestler.
