Statesmen of the Week: Sean Bohan and Alyssa Hames

Oskaloosa--Men's soccer player Sean Bohan (Sr., Dublin, Ireland, Business Management) and women's basketball player Alyssa Hames (Grad., Ackley, Iowa, Master's of Sport Management) have been named Statesmen of the Week for November 11-17, an honor presented by Gardner-Collier Jewelry.

In the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship contest, goalkeeper Bohan delivered a standout performance, keeping a clean sheet to secure his sixth shutout of the season. His six saves were pivotal in the team's historic 1-0 victory over Missouri Valley, earning the program its first-ever conference championship.

On the basketball court, Hames averaged eight points and eight rebounds across two games. Against Mount Mercy, she delivered a solid performance with 10 points, shooting 4-for-5 from the field, and grabbed nine rebounds. She added six points in the matchup against Central Methodist and pulled seven rebounds. Over the season, Hames has consistently contributed 14.0 points and 8.4 rebounds per game on average.
