Statesmen of the Week: Andrew Miller and Catherine Steinkamp

Oskaloosa--Men's track and field athlete Andrew Miller (So., Le Claire, Iowa, Exercise Science) and women's wrestler Catherine Steinkamp (Sr., Quincy, Ill., Exercise Science) have been named Statesmen of the Week for February 10-16, an honor presented by Gardner-Collier Jewelry.

Miller played a key role in William Penn's second-place finish at the Heart Championship over the weekend. He was a member of both the distance medley relay and 4x800-meter relay teams, each securing Heart titles. Individually, he also shined in the one-mile run, earning a silver medal.

Steinkamp dominated on the mat at the Baker Jimmy May Open, posting a perfect 4-0 record en route to the finals. She showcased her skill with two technical falls and one pin, including a statement 13-4 victory over No. 12-ranked Kylie Robledo of Baker.
