Bio

Kaleb Preston is in his second year as Head Women’s Soccer Coach.

In his first year at the helm, Preston led one player to all-Heart of America Athletic Conference laurels, while 12 were lauded as NAIA Scholar-Athletes and 10 earned Heart Scholar-Athlete recognition.

Preston came to WPU after serving two seasons as an assistant coach at IU Kokomo.  While on the staff, he helped lead the Cougars to back-to-back River States Conference regular season and tournament crowns.

IUK owned a 27-7-8 record (16-1-3 RSC) during Preston’s tenure and qualified for the NAIA National Championship Opening Round twice.  He coached 15 individuals to all-conference awards, while one player earned All-America status.  An additional 18 Cougars garnered either RSC Scholar-Athlete or NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition.

Prior to his time at IU Kokomo, Preston was a staff coach and assistant camp director at FC Athletico in North Carolina.

A 2019 graduate of Ball State University with a degree in Business Administration, Preston played on the University’s club team, while also coaching the U13 and U14 Delaware County Futbol Club squads.

Preston, who holds a US Soccer National D License, earned his Master’s of Coaching and Exercise Science degree at Concordia University Irvine in 2020.
