Bio

Kayla Jackson, MSM, LAT, ATC, is in her fifth year as an assistant in the Sports Medicine department.  She works primarily with men's bowling, women's bowling, women's basketball, football, and softball.

A 2021 graduate of William Penn with a Master’s of Sports Management degree, she was a graduate assistant for two years with the Sports Medicine department.  She also worked with the North Mahaska HS football team and the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont HS basketball teams.

A native of Akron, Ohio, Jackson earned her Athletic Training degree from the University of Akron in 2019.

Jackson has been Athletic Trainer Board certified since 2019 and has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association since 2016.  She is also the Iowa representative for the district 5 LGBTQI+ committee.

Kayla Currently resides in Oskaloosa with her dog Luna.
