
WPU Holds at No. 7 in Second Poll
Oskaloosa--The Statesmen men's lacrosse team remains in its same position as the NAIA released its second top-10 poll Wednesday.
WPU (2-1, 1-0 Heart) continues to be seventh in the country, picking up one point from the last poll to now have 37 points. It marks the ninth-straight poll in which the navy and gold are ranked.
William Penn is guiding the two Heart of America Athletic Conference programs in the ranking as Benedictine is unofficially 11th in the nation.
Keiser (Fla.) remains No. 1 with 60 points and five of the six first-place votes. Webber International (Fla.) is second with the final first-place nod, while Cumberlands (Ky.), Indiana Tech, and Reinhardt (Ga.) round out the top five.
William Penn returns to Oskaloosa next Monday to host Clarke in Heart play at 6 p.m.
