Zuva Bvekerwa is in his sixth year as Assistant Track and Field Coach.

Bvekerwa earned the promotion after spending three seasons as a graduate assistant.  He has guided numerous All-Americans, national qualifiers, conference champions, and all-conference performers.

Bvekerwa is a graduate of Missouri Valley College with a degree in marketing. While at MVC, during the 2015 and 2016 seasons, he was a two-time all-conference performer and was a part of the 4x100-meter relay championship team. Bvekerwa also held captain duties during those two years.

Prior to his time at MVC, he competed for numerous Zimbabwe national youth and junior teams. Most notably at the 2009 IAAF World Youth Championships, 2010 World Junior Championships, and 2011 CAF African Junior Championships. Bvekerwa went on to compete for Oral Roberts in 2012 and 2013, earning letters in 200m and relays.

Bvekerwa received his Master’s of Business Leadership degree at William Penn in 2019.
