
Johnson Racks Up AVCA All-Midwest Region Laurel
Oskaloosa--Alyvia Johnson (Sr., Owatonna, Minn., Business Management) was tabbed by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as one of the top players in the country as the all-region awards were announced.
Johnson earned first-team all-Midwest Region recognition to garner the second first-team honor of her career (also in 2023).
The senior led William Penn with 359 kills (3.52 per set) this fall on a .173 attack percentage. She also tallied 353 digs (3.46 per set) in addition to 45 blocks (8 solos, 37 assists), 16 aces, and nine assists.
Johnson, who posted 18 double-doubles (kills and digs) in 2024, had a season-high 23 kills versus Mayville State on August 17 and a season-best 29 digs against Mount Mercy on October 4.
She closes her time at WPU being ranked on several career record lists, including being third in kills per set (3.18), fourth in kills (1,294), and 10th in digs (1,288).
