
Second National Award Won by Ogunsanya
Oskaloosa--Christianah Ogunsanya (Fr., Akure, Nigeria, Kinesiology) posted another dominating week as she was named NAIA Women's Wrestler of the Week Wednesday.
The freshman garnered her second national award after rolling through six opponents.
Ogunsanya's week began with a fall over Mayangelie Colon last Tuesday. She then flew through the bracket at the Baker Jimmy May Open last Saturday, winning all five of her matches by a combined score of 50-0 (five 10-0 technical falls). In the finals, she defeated No. 2-nationally ranked Camille Fournier of Texas Wesleyan for the second time this year.
Ogunsanya, who is ranked No. 1 in the NAIA, is currently 16-0 with 15 technical falls and one fall.
William Penn has won three nationals laurels this season.
