Bio

Cash Wilcke is in his second year as Assistant Women’s Wrestling Coach.

Wilcke, who is also an assistant coach with the men's program, came to WPU from Iowa Wesleyan University where he served as an assistant on the men’s and women’s staffs during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.  During the 2023 campaign, he helped the IWU women place second at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship and send 11 women to the NAIA National Championship.  From there, five individuals earned All-America status, including one national champion, as the Tigers placed seventh as a team.

Wilcke coached one men’s national qualifier during the 2022-2023 season as well.

A 2020 graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Sport and Recreation Management (currently finishing his Master's degree).  At Iowa, Wilcke was a three-time national qualifier.  He ranked as high as #10 in the nation, won a career-high 23 matches as a senior (63-29 career mark), and claimed titles at the Luther Open and Midlands Championships.

He excelled as a prep, winning two state titles at OABCIG HS.  A four-time conference champion and two-time fourth-place state finisher, Wilcke holds school records for takedowns and falls.

Wilcke was also twice a camp counselor for the Iowa Wrestling Camps.
